Division rivalries are alive and well, IMO. Packers-Bears, Steelers-Ravens, Browns-Bengals, Saints-Falcons, Eagles-Cowboys, Raiders-Chiefs. But are there non-division rivalries that are still alive? I'll let you decide what alive means. If there are any, what are they?

I'd wager a lot of people consider the Patriots a rival at this point even if the feeling isn't really mutual for the most part.

Seahawks-entire AFC West (?)
Giants-Jets
Manning vs. Brady at one point
Patriots-everyone, but especially the Ravens, Steelers and possibly Chiefs

Patriots-Ravens could be one. Patriots-Steelers could still be alive if Big Ben can come back. I think Chiefs-Ravens could be one that forms in the coming years.

I'm thinking that Niners-Cowboys is dead. Long dead. LOL. I'm thinking that Steelers-Cowboys is similarly dead.

Tried to think of others but couldn't come up with many. I think it shows the NFL does well pairing rivals together.

Steelers/Cowboys probably isn't what it once was nationally but it seems like there's still some hard feelings between the two fanbases. I imagine they might play in Mexico City this year.

Yeah, at this point it seems to largely depend on luck if a non-division rivalry is created and sustained. In the past, it was a lot easier for teams to maintain a dominant run of success and see each other multiple times in the playoffs.

Maybe Packer-Niners. They have played each other a few times in the playoffs in the last 7 years and there is always the whole Niners didn't draft Rodgers thing.

Bills vs Vikings should be a rivalry, who will lose their fifth first?!

That would be awesome if they played each other in the Super Bowl. It would be like the NFL version of the Cubs-Indians World Series.

Patriots/Colts definitely fit that, but then it became Broncos/Patriots once Manning left and now neither is really what they once were.

Yeah, Patriots-Colts, Brady-Manning is definitely one of the top ones.

Meh. personally, i dont hate the cowboys like I did as a kid when they were kicking ass and taking names in the 90's.
