The FBI has begun an official search for the Colts' defense. Witnesses say they saw the Colts' defense before the game, but nobody has any clue as to its whereabouts since then. No official word on any leads has been released.

I'll say it again. I'm so happy that Danario Alexander did not work out in STL.

How is that not grounding? The ball didn't reach the line of scrimmage, he was in the pocket and had no receiver in the area. If all u need is to act like the ball slipped to get out of that call why don't more qbs do it? They should have reviewed it anyway to see if he lost it before the ARM came forward.

Anyone know the ruling behind this? Is it literally not Intentional Grounding just because the ball slipped even though it was not due to any kind of contact? It just seems like that would be a loophole in the rules to me. (No one to throw to with not enough to escape the pocket.... just fake the ball slipping out on a throw toward the ground in the flats.) I really thought that play should have been grounding with a 10 second run off.

Arthur Jones has developed into a starter for the Ravens. :( Wanted him pretty badly in 2010, and I couldn't believe he fell to the 5th round.

Dennis Pitta out for the rest of the game with a concussion. That hurts.

Why are the Steelers wearing those terrible throwbacks? Isn't it the second time in like a month?

Of all the players to scramble for a 30+ yard TD, Leftwich may have been the least likely IMO. It doesn't read right.

He's only starting because Pernell McPhee is out with injury. McPhee SHOULD have been a 49er. I say so at least. And I've read that Jones hasn't played very well in his spot either.

Daniel Jeremiah:

Rams punter Johnny Hekker had 40 yards passing last week. The Cardinals had 41 yards passing this week.

Detroit, 'Zona & Jacksonville teased me all day. :(

I felt the exact same way. 5 INTs = win? This could have been done a few years ago when we won with Cutler's 5 INTs, but only after a last second incomplete pass. But then stupid Atlanta's defense had to bail Ryan out (Arizona's QBs and Wisenhunt helped, too).

Gaffart was knocked out with a shoulder injury again so Henne stepped in. I'm not a Henne fanboy but he's much better than Gaffart.
Is Gabbert done in Jacksonville? I don't imagine he's going to be getting the starting job back anytime soon with Henne playing like this. Henne is still young so if this continues he could move forward as the starter.

What do you guys think? Maybe I should make this into a thread

Not talking about Smith and Henne's abilities, but this game reminded me of the Houston Texans game where Smith replaced Hill at halftime, threw three touchdowns, and lost on the last play. Maybe the Texans just don't prepare for the backup very well?

And I must admit another thing. I was unaware that Jerry Rice, John Taylor, and Terrell Owens are all in a row right now - 6th, 7th and 8th - on that game receiving list and all very close.

6th - Jerry Rice - 289
7th - John Taylor - 286
8th - Terrell Owens - 283

Man, Pozz off his game. :)

Historical records aren't one of my specialties.

Oops, I meant ;), not :). You're so good at almost all sports things, that your comment sounded like it didn't meet your standards or something when none of us do it as well as you do.
