So far this year

- Blown a 15 pt lead with 3 minutes left by letting a team score 3 tones in 3 minutes
- not realized the receiving team didn't have to wait 10 yards to recover an onside kick
- blown a 16 pt 4th quarter lead in the span of 4 minutes
'- missed a XP and a FG in a game we lost by 4
- thrown an int in the end zone late 4th quarter to lose by 7
- bypassed a chip shot fg in game we were up 1 in and instead went for a 4th and 5
- had a game won if all we do is kneel in the ball and kick a 25 yard fg but instead our RB tries to fall down at the 1 but accidently falls into the end zone
- which is directly followed by a team going 75 yards in 60 seconds all with no timeouts and not having a single play where their players goes out of bounds

All by week 7.

Next week we will score a TD with 6 seconds left to go up 1 and then our RB will fumble the w pt conversion attempt which will be returned 99 yards for 2 pts

This one today was special. For anyone who didn't see the ending, ATL was down 17-16 and driving. DET was out of timeouts and Falcons just needed to drain the clock and kick a FG (they were inside the 10) to win. Instead Gurley broke through on a run, then tried to fall short of the goal line, but it was a TD. They miss the two, then Stafford drives for the game-winner.

edit: they hit the two.

Hockenson got out of bounds on the first play of the last drive.

Never should've been blown dead.

Also, had they not reviewed the last Kenny G grab, game would've been over. Lions weren't set when they snapped.

I really was shocked Atlanta pulled this off.

Had 100% confidence in my Lions to lose, somehow.
Lions played the anaylistics.
Neither team can hold a lead so the Lions decided to play from behind! :thumb:

Great pass from Ryan. Stafford style sidearm to Ridley.

Falcons coach literally said the plan was to get it to the 1 and take a knee. Yiu know because risking a couple plays where you could fumble or accidently score is worth kicking a 19 ysrd fg instead of a 25 yd fg ... lol

We've only had 2 of those . Should be 5-2 or 4-3 at worst right now. It really is special

"I was trying not to. My momentum took me in," Gurley said. "It's kind of crazy, the last time I played Detroit, I went down. This time I end up scoring. It's like what goes around, comes around."

- Failed miserably then

I don't blame Gurley. Never should've even been given the ball

I was on my Falcons board earlier and everyone was on his ass or Morris fir not kneeling on it or the refs for "screwing us " literally 12 comments in and not a person has said " maybe the D shouldn't have given up a 75 yard drive to a team with no timeouts in 60 seconds "

That's how you know a fan base has seen a shit D for a decade. No one even thinks to get mad at them because we all knew we lost as soon as Gurley scored

I honestly thought they would break out some new rule that since Gurley had meant to go down, it counted as giving himself up. Atlanta is actually challenging Detroit's historical dominance at losing in new and unexpected ways. Usually thats when they break out a new rule and say a TD didn't count because of a process of the catch. Or a challenge didn't count because it was a play already being challenged so double negatives canceled it out. Or the time they not only took away a TD on a challenge, they also ran the clock out and just said the game was over and we automatically lost.

I was kinda looking forward to the new rule.

Yeah, my bad, they got the two.

Also, after DET scored, they had a 15 yard penalty that set the PAT back to a 48 yarder. Guy nailed it, though.
I was ready to say "Praters been drinkin again."

But kept it to myself, since he only missed one kick today.

Today would've been a perfect time for a new "process" rule to come to light.

Only I really wasn't hoping we'd win today.

Fattie is lasting the entire season now.
