Nobody is actually watching the Wild vs. Isles GNT

Minnesota doesn't have any fans here. The Islanders don't DESERVE any fans here. I'm cheering for the Wild, myself, but only because they are the only chance I have at watching a Flyers playoff game live.

But hey, back to showing the teams respect. The Wild are better and need the game more, which is why I'm predicting the Isles win 5-2.

Agreed. First game back? Horrible. I mean...I wouldn't hate him as much if he hadn't mocked a kid when he hurt 'em, but the sliver of respect I may have had for him, is gone.

Boy, I don't know how you lessen the 'cheapness' of that hit. Call it a double forearm shiver, but in any case it's another dirty play.

wait till you see the replay I'm about to upload. one angle clearly shows a shot to the face, the linesman couldn't see it because clutterbuck's back was to him.

I agree that his past infractions are certainly giving us a bit of a predisposition to suspend him or see the hit as more than it is...but that was a nasty shot.

I only saw one replay so I could be totally wrong but in the replay that I saw he didn't leave his feet or hit the guy in the head.

Yeah is left hand looked like it made contact with the face. I still stand by what I said:

He should be suspended and he should be suspended as a repeat offender but that is no where near a 'flying punch to the face' and not the worst thing that I have seen this season or worthy of expulsion from the league.


That said he is either dumb as dirt or has no regard for the rules pulling this crap his first game back from a suspension. Either way he will get another lengthy unpaid vacation.
