No Winnipeg Jets?

Word has it that the True North group is not going to return the Coyotes as the Jets once they are bought and moved. Seems that they already have a new nickname and colour scheme all picked out, even some rumours they will be the Manitoba Moose due to the fact TN has already poured money into the branding of that name.

Thoughts?

I think Winnipeg could care less as long as they got a team back. Something fresh would probably help them as far as merchandising goes...but if I were up there I'd just wear my Jets stuff anyway.

I like Falcons better... Who the fuck wants to be called a Moose? They should have went with something that has history. Oh well, I'm sure you could have called them anything and Winnipeg would have been happy.
