I just don’t think Rodgers would help them, he would be a locker room distraction and he wasn’t that impressive last season. If they sign him it tells me they don’t trust JJ, because if they did they would let him take over.

My understanding no issues to McCarthy's return in 2025...

Yep that’s what I thought, I looked it up and they expect McCarthy to be ready to go for the season. That’s why I don’t get why the Vikings would want Rodgers - they selected JJ in the first round and they have a lot of talent on O, they should trust him to lead them. All of the other QBs drafted in round 1 last year will be starting in 2025, so why keep JJ on the bench?
