To lessen the likelihood of more offensive injuries, I could see BB go heavy running and more Lafell and Chandler. Will be hard to run this week against Buffalo though.

I know. This is hard to explain? He was so effective in Buffalo? Just hoping he can get some of that mojo back?Unfortunately Chandler has hands of stone.
We're past the trade deadline so this wouldn't happen till next year. I wouldn't do it, even though I'd love to see CJ in a Pat uniform. Instead focus on the backside of this D. The O will be fine. Just need one WR to step up until JE is back. Amazing what they've been able to accomplish with all these injuries. Pats are on a mission. Not that I ever see this happening and I am pretty sure the Patriots would have to give up the farm for him... Does this now add more fuel to the fire about Johnson? Again, I don't ever see Calvin being in a Patriots uniform.

Agreed. My point was more how they've been able to win regardless. Even when Seabass comes back they have him on the left side. BB, Josh and Dave G have devised and re-devised a plan that works with TB and their system. All three coaches deserve coach of the year if they continue on this pace. The Pats need to stabilize the OL first and foremost. Cannon and Vollmer need to come back pronto. They faced a bottom feeder defensively in the Giants and looked like crap... Buffalo is on another level and Denver's defense is at the top of the sack food chain.

There are many ways that the Patriots can get a wide receiver if they really want one. Any team can waive a player and that player can be claimed by another team. Lets say that the Patriots and 49ers agree to a deal. The 49ers wave Michael Crabtree and the Patriots claim him 10 seconds later. Crabtree is now a Patriot. When the season is over, the 49ers trade Joe Staley (OT) to the Patriots for their 2nd and 4th Round draft picks and next years 3rd and 7th.The trade is actually Staley for the 3rd and 7th and Crabtree is for the 2nd and 4th.
There are hundreds of players playing in Canada and practice squads that the Patriots can lure also. Practice squad players are not 100% protected because they are not officially on the "team".
This weekend against KC will be 9 weeks. He has been practicing for a month?Reports: Julian Edelman Suffered Broken Foot, 'Possible Return For Playoffs'
The injuries just won’t stop for the New England Patriots. Wide receiver Julian Edelman broke a bone in his foot Sunday in the Patriots’ 27-26 win over the New York Giants, FOX Sports’ Mike Garafolo first reported Sunday. Edelman suffered a “Jones fracture,” Garafolo specified. The wide receiver, on pace for his best season as a pro, could return for the playoffs, according to Garafolo. NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport confirmed Garafolo’s report. Rapoport said Edelman could return before the season is over. The return for a Jones fracture typically is between eight and nine weeks. Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant returned from the injury in just seven weeks this season.

Edelman and Brady putting in extra time. Jules will be ready. I expect a big game from him. The more I sit here thinking about it, the more confidence I have in the Pats coming out victorious. In BB we trust. Go Pats. I'll be in Thailand so if I can catch the game I think it will be on around 0430 Sunday morning
