To be fair, the Nationals were the favorites in the NL in the start of the year.

Sick of seeing this team in October every year.

Sick of seeing them reload, year after year, after year, after year.....

Frustrates me as a Brewer fan. You Card fans are a lucky bunch.

The cards earn it though. They don't buy it. You have to respect that.

I get it. Im a Rams fan and Im totally jelly of the Packers but the Cardinals have had the great combinations at the right times and its paid off so far. I do think the Dodgers will be the favorite in the series but Im not convinced that the Pirates and Cards werent the 2 of the 3 best teams in baseball (Red Sox). We'll see.

Pirates also have a really good chance at making a run at things for years to come which is why the Reds fired their manager, imo

For me living in the midwest and having a few Card fan friends....it is. I was kinda young when the Yanks had their 90s dynasty going too.

Yeah. Our luck has mostly come from getting into the playoffs, really. There have been a few things here and there but this is the first year in awhile where we actually earned our confidence in the regular season. It took the Braves choking one year, it took a bunch of flukes, the Padres sucking and the Mets getting injured one year and last year had that weird play in game with the umpires making up things as they went and Chipper totally vanishing with the Braves

Good series, Cards fans. That one was nerve-wracking.

Honestly, all three teams atop the Central were built about the same way, and very well. And all three have major youth components. This should be an exciting division going forward, and I anticipate a lot more dramatic playoff series between all three of these teams over the next half decade at least.
