For everyone bitching about Freddie in the post season, I swear we would have still gotten thru this series if Snitker could manage. He screwed up the pitching from the very start by moving Fried to the pin and having Keuchel pitch game 1. Our best pitcher is Soroka, yet the way he had it set up, Soroka could only pitch one game. Should never happen in a short series. Then there's all the end game stuff like the example you mentioned and decisions on when to walk a guy or pitch to him.

Snit's notorious bullpen management definitely cost us game 1, and played a role in us losing game 4. I can't fully blame him for game 4 because we had every chance in the world to put that game away and couldn't do it.

Like I said earlier, this game should have never had to have been played, and we're getting exactly what we deserve for letting it get here.

I also like the fact a former Mets player is in the broadcast booth. It would've been much better had it been the ex Cards & ex Mets player Keith Hernandez instead...but Ron Darling is cool.
