IMO, I think it was more of an AV decision ... he wanted Schaefer on the bottom 6 and didnt think Bmo would thrive in that role ... and Schaefer has been playing like he hasnt played nhl hockey for 2 years

ive said it before and Ill say it again. as long as we have Tanner Glass on our bottom 6 and Desbien we taint as a deep enough team as we think, Morrison would have helped but its done so its the last Ill talk of him. (same seems to go for our D now that we have significant injuries but then who could lose top 3 dmen and survive reallY)

That's really the key. Canucks are missing Hamhuis, Salo, and Ballard, once those guys are back in the lineup, you guys will be fine.

/Burrows is a pretty key guy as well

i thinks he's definitely key ... hes legit top 6 ... you throw him out there and instead of the sedins going point per game theyre at 1.5 per game and thats a massive difference (and im talking over a season)

but the biggest thing with Burr in the lineup is then you can stick with Sammy Kes and Mase for extended time on the second line so sammy can get over this slow start bullshit

with Burr in, instead of having to move things around, that 7th guy ... torres or hansen ... can stay on the 3rd line

right now the canucks are playing like they did in the playoffs against chicago when Burr got hurt ... i just hope when he gets back off that labrum injury he can jump right in and be effective but its doubtful because that injury is a killer

The shoulder needs to be right for him to engage in his rough and tumble physical play

That disappeared when he was injured in the chicago series
