Seriously you know the Kings are a solid team when everyone who picks against the Kings to repeat are just doing it with the reasoning that its too hard to repeat. They can't come up with any problems with the team as to why they can't win again.

Kings are a good team in NHL 15 & deservedly so, but NHL 15 doesn't have a good track record in picking Cup winners...

Then again, not sure if Doc, Eddie O, & Pierre have a good track record either.

The talking heads are just going with the odds. All the other contenders made changes to improve (on paper that is) where the Kings have basically the same team. And it is really, really hard to repeat. It hasn't been done at all since the salary cap was put in. It matters not what they think. It only matters what happens on the ice.

I don't think they mean any disrespect to the Kings, Kings will no doubt be a contender, but repeating is hard in this day & age. If I were asked if the Kings will repeat I would say they have a 50% shot.

Eddie O does not hate anyone, he has his network gig to make sure he stays impartial.

Its amazing the kings and hawks have both stayed strong repeating in the cap era.

This is a big year for the hawks. Next year we are over the cap with 13 players signed. Thats gonna mean at least two or three more are gonna be traded before next season just so they can have room for 20.

Dallas, st louis, Minnesota, san jose all will have a say this year in the west. But that target on the back of the champs is too much to overcome.

Kings have the talent, character and continuity to repeat. It comes down to injuries. If Kings are healthy they will repeat.

So here is my 2 cents. Yes it is hard to win back to back. If it was easy, than any other SC champion would have done it by now. Anyone can win on any given day, there is way too much parity in the NHL for me to be 100% certain that the Kings will do it again. However, being the homer that I am I say that they can, will and should win again this year.
