It's all good because he can do the one thing so few can, put the puck in the net.

Hey, I can't deny that. He may be a gutless puke, but he's a talented gutless puke. He can also eat Skittles like I've never seen before.

I'd say he's dirtier than most NHL players, but not quite in the realm of guys like Steve Ott, Adam Burish, or Matt Cooke. What drives people nuts is that he has all the talent in the world, but he plays the game like a cheap fourth line hack (spearing, hair pulling, slew footing, butt-ending, slashes, jumping guys in fights with his visor on, etc). Also he got his ass kicked by a sissy Euro Byng winner.

Come on guys it's not like Perry has bitten anyone has he? I mean to me it doesn't get much lower than that, well what Matt Martin attempted to do last year with the sucker punch was worse, but that's about it.

He's pretty dirty on a regular basis. But hey, the world needs assholes, right?

As far as I'm concerned every team wants an Asshole who can Score.

Ruutu is an UFA I believe & the Ducks had Lapierre at one point last year as well. Burke calls it Truculence. I've got to admit I like that word.

Lapierre spent five-and-a-half seasons in the Canadiens organization before being traded to the Anaheim Ducks in December 2010. Two months later, he was traded again to the Canucks.

Yeah he seems to only play well with the Canucks coach. I find that a bit odd.

How is the way Perry plays the game any different than Mr. Hockey?

I'm not looking for ways to compare the two and praise Gordie and bash Perry, but I see a good amount of similarities in their games.

I'm not saying Perry's a saint, but he's a step up from a guy like Burrows in my book.

Gordie was dirtier and meaner than Perry, but he could fight with the best of them. Gordie wouldn't run and hide, and he certainly wouldn't start throwing haymakers at a guy who was busy taking his visor off.
