Wilson with a check to the back of the head and knows Carlo out of this galaxy.

Refs watch it and do nothing. Glad to know it's not just the Canadian refs that are trash.

Scouting the refs is a good website and I've attached the two refs who worked tonight's game in Boston

dean morton stinks.PNG

Dean Morton has been in the league for over 20 years yet in that time he has worked a total of five (5) playoff games. The reason he has only worked five playoff games is because he is a terrible referee.

Dean Morton is the worst official I’ve seen in the 46 years I’ve been watching hockey lol

Paul Devorski a close 2nd.

Sucks as he took a nasty hit, and I try to catch most of the Avs games solely for NMK.
Hopefully only miss two games. Never know with the first one.

And a reply from Scouting the Refs...

And it’s my opinion that knowing Frank Seravalli’s opinion that it was a clean hit is all I need to know that it was dirty and cheap as fuck.

The amount of hypocritical whining by Jack Edwards was astounding. And of course his calling of fights

What a moron. Wilson skates 20ft without and lines himself up that exactly that hit, which was high and uncalled for.

Quite a 15 minute stretch for Ryan Reaves last night

Bombs given (and taken):

And then after he comes out of the box, Reaves gets cleaved ....

Seravalli is picking a dumb hill to die on here - Even if you think it wasn't a head shot (debatable at best), his hands finish high and as a result, Carlo's head smacks hard into the end glass. Also, we don't have to every little thing legislated in the rule book, a dangerous hit is a dangerous hit and players need to be held accountable for their actions.

Also from the NHL rulebook:

Boarding. A boarding penalty shall be imposed on any player who checks or pushes a defenseless opponent in such a manner that causes the opponent to hit or impact the boards violently or dangerously. The severity of the penalty, based upon the impact with the boards, shall be at the discretion of the Referee.

Doesn't say anything about having to be hit from behind.

So Seravalli doesn’t have a clue WTF he’s talking about?
I for one am just shocked by that.

Looking at this Twitter also shows he doesn't understand the meaning of repeat offender.

Utter moron he is.

And a reply from Scouting the Refs...

Why is that so many people do so much mental gymnastics trying to find ways to defend Tom Wilson?

I mean if you have to defend the guys' antics with incredible leaps of logic every 2-4 games, when do you get to the point where you start to realize he might be a piece of shit? What exactly will convince you?

It's the same with Marchand, too. It's ridiculous.
