The name is Macedonian, no? I suspect that Grapes knows that there's a big Macedonian community in the Toronto area. Hell, they do great in that crazy "international" tournament for immigrants every year. If it was spelled with a "V" it might confuse him more

I'll confess that part of the reason I know that is that I played with an "Andreoff" as a teenager. Don't think they're related though.

I remember I was drinking with a teammate of mine in a league in CT and we were talking about those "ethnic origin" tournaments or whatever they're called (I guess there are a whole bunch of them in major cities) and I mentioned that the Macedonians always do surprisingly well in the Toronto version and he said something like "around here you'd probably have trouble finding enough of them to referee a game, let alone play one"

Yeah, according to SportsClubStats, a Sharks win is more beneficial to the Flames than a Jets win.
