And that is the Wild season in a nutshell so far :L

PP coming up. 1-43 on the road(yes you read that right). Are we due? You would think so, but I'd be surprised with a shot on goal even.

Mike Yeo is the problem with the Wild - he's a mediocre coach.

If Jacques Lemaire was still in town, the Wild would be right up there with the Blackhawks.

Yup zero shots lol. At some point the complete ineptness just becomes impressive.

No doubt. Most people are starting to slowly realize it.

If something doesn't go well for a period he immediately changes lines.

Fuck coaching!!! Just play with no guys!!! Fuck rhythm!!

This team is too talented.

I've only been following the Wild since Yeo came to town, so I have to take your word for it.

All I know is that SOMETHING isn't clicking so far this season. :(

lol what made you just recently start following the Wild?

But yeah he just doesn't do enough coaching. Just tries "change" and it's a real issue.

This team is not just talented either, it is deep. No excuses to be trading wins and losses for the better part of a month.

I used to follow the Thrashers, but didn't want to follow a Canadian team, so I went 'shopping' in the Fall of '11 & liked what I saw of Minny.

Ha awesome!! Picked the right time to start getting into them though. That was the end times of completely inept offensive hockey.

One thing I do love about the Wild they are the one Minny team that are really going after it with big moves to better the team.

Fuck!!! How did they not score there!!

Gutsy call, pulling Kuemper that early. Shame that it didn't pay off. :(

One thing I love about what Yeo has started to do. May be the Roy effect from last year?

Early this year Yeo was waiting way too long to pull the goalie. Lately hes been doing it first face off around 2 minutes left. I love it. Allows you to get some pressure and sustain it. Worked vs Dallas immediately.

Congrats on the win tonight, the funny thing is Calgary likely won the advanced stats battle, but lost where it counts.

Edit: Looks like Tyler Ennis had another fine game, where's Greg Nemisz these days?

I haven't looked at the advanced stats, but I would assume Calgary won it since they won the shot battle 45-19.

Ennis has been having a very strong season and some of the other guys are starting to pick it up a bit too.

I'm just wondering if Enroth can sustain this level long-term. He's at a .944 sv% over his last 9 (which is conveniently how long they've been playing well for) and he's climbed to a .919 on the season, which is actually slightly ahead of his career average. He has apparently been working with Arturs Irbe on his positioning a lot lately, so perhaps that's part of it.
