And yes, I realize the Flames have played 2 or 3 more games than most teams - Don't bring me down :D

Good goaltending from Hiller! Does it make you think of Kipper back in his day? Jonas has been pretty solid for the Flames from what I have seen.

Stretcher and paramedics called to the Red Wings dressing room in Ottawa apparently?

Pens shutout streak stops around 200 minutes. Gettin' too fancy on the PP. Can't be too fancy on zone entries when you have 4 F on the ice.

He definitely is unflappable like Kipper and it was a great signing by the Flames to bring him on board. Karri Ramo has been good this season as well, but he can't get a start with the way Jonas has been playing.

I was always impressed with Hiller when he was in Anaheim. I know he battled that vertigo problem for a while, and it looks like he's made a full recovery from it. Good to see

Here's another reason why the Flames are off to a surprisingly good start:

Henrik Sedin with four seconds left in the period makes it 2-1 Avs.

The Habs make no sense...-4 goal differential? Just...so weird.

Shoot out or 1 goal wins and really bad losses will do that.

Why do most of the teams in any I follow have sucky offenses?

What a load of shit.

That was clearly interference. Even if you allow him the initial contact because he got hit, he recovered, could have gotten up or off of Greiss, but stayed on top of him throughout the play and didn't let Greiss get up.

Paramedics have left the #Wings area and thankfully the stretcher is empty. Do not know exactly what occurred. All is quiet. @PxPOttawa

No it wasn't and that isn't even the point in this case.

The ref didn't call interference he let the play go on and it was ruled no goal and it isn't a reviewable offense.

They went to review to see whether it was a goal or not.

It was complete bullshit.

Fortunately the wild played like ass for most of the game and didn't deserve much anyways. But that was bs.

I admit bias...but he was laying on top of Griess. The goal happened after the initial contact, but he made very little effort to get off him and it led directly to the goal.

He didn't whistle down the original offense because he didn't believe it to be a penalty, however, once the goal happened he waved it off because the contact impeded the goalies ability to play the puck.
69.3 Contact Inside the Goal Crease - If an attacking player initiates contact with a goalkeeper, incidental or otherwise, while the goalkeeper is in his goal crease, and a goal is scored, the goal will be disallowed.
That part is straight forward. No idea why they reviewed anything though. Sometimes I think they do it just to be sure they're following the rules correctly. Who knows. The call on the ice was interference, so :noidea:

Bo Horvat just got his first NHL point (it might be his goal). At any rate, it's 2-2.

Edit: No point for Horvat (yet, but a plus for being on the ice).

On report of paramedics being called to Wings room, Ken Holland texted: "False alarm. All good and heading to airport."
