Caps had no business losing that game. One dumb offensive zone penalty and one unlucky OV turnover was too much i guess.

Dunno what it is about Western Canada... can never win in Edmonton, Calgary or Vancouver

Metropolitan Division is close right now:

Caps, Isles and Rangers with 8 points, Devils with 7 points and the Penguins, Jackets and Flyers with 6 points

Flyers aren't looking so bad now, just need to keep rolling and get on a win streak

Yeah, some nights that is the way the puck bounces.

I'm encouraged that our one legit loss was a tight game where we looked like the better team and mostly played really good defense. Trotz seems to have this team playing better defense while still keeping the firepower. Big fan. And Orpik and Niskanen have looked pretty good from what I've seen. Pleasantly surprised!

Giroux not starting the season with a 16 game scoreless streak helps that a lot. Flyers will be fine this term.

I noticed it too. After Nuge scored, they cut to a crowd shot and the one they showed had like 10 people standing. I thought it was weird.

Jackets only 5GP, feels like forever since they last played. They will have 8GP by the end of the weekend.

And still the same # of points.
