Minor roster move, but something bigger has to be coming. Murray is slated to be back early feb, Jenner and Anisimov shortly thereafter. Jackets have four (two of which could be potentially out in the cold) defenders who can play regular minutes and with these two and Arty/Boone returning soon, they have a few more decent, possibly moveable forwards.

D: Connauton, Leopold, Goloubef and Prout (Savard has proven himself a keeper, Maybe Connauten too)
F: Skille, Morin, Tropp, Boll, Chaput, Collins and Gibbons (although, it is unlikely Skille goes anywhere. And Boll's contract is an abomination)

How many of those does it take to land a top six winger? Would Leopold, Goloubef, Tropp and Gibbons get Eberle? Too much for him? Too little?

I think it's too much, but I'm not the best guy to ask because of my bias against the Oil. I'd take that package for Curtis Glencross, though.

Feels like too much to me too, but in a month all four could be expendable. With the Quality for Quantity that the Oil threw out there, I figured four pieces we don't need for one we do...

Maybe throw in Anisimov and go after Hall also.

There's no way Edmonton is moving either Eberle or Hall without a 1st rounder coming back unless one of the trade pieces is a legit 1A defenceman. So throw in Jack Johnson and send Lowe a highly-edited VHS of his highlights.
