Yotes and Predators don't have good goalies. Montreal and Edmonton (right now) do.I'm still surprised that the Habs have started out of the gate running just like they did last year, and that in last place you have the Yotes (thought they were going to be much better), and Suban's Preds. Kudos to Edmonton who looks to maybe finally have a team to contend for the playoffs.
Still early though.

And thus is how to build a winner, unless you play for the Canucks apparently.
.906 sv%, which is following up from his .908 last year.Rinne isn't a bad goalie by any stretch of the imagination. From what I've heard out of Nashville, the chemistry is messed up and Fischer had to go to ownership and discuss the problems Subban is causing.
If that's all true, the Habs look like geniuses.

Preds getting in on Halak wouldn't shock me, although they probably are in bigger need of some top 6 scoring.Don't tempt the bear. Don't tempt the bear.
I will stay silent. I will stay silent.
/but yeah, his performance has been dropping consistently for 2+ years

When they call him Brown it reminds me of Mike Brown lol.And since they are playing tonight, time for another of my pet peeves.
Why do the announcers always call him "Connor Brown"? Never "Brown", always "Connor Brown". Almost as annoying as "18 year old Sam Bennett".
They do this to Pekka Rinne also. Its always "Pekka Rinne", never "Rinne". So much so that I once mentioned "Rinne" to my wife and she said who? When I said "you know, Pekka Rinne", she said ohhhhhh, him.
/then again, the only other player my wife knows is "Chara". And now "Matthews". She actually called him "Connor Matthews" on Saturday. #whatchagonnado

Grabbing Halak and having him split duties with Rinne (or even take over) gives the Preds some time - they're really high on Juuse Saros and maybe by the end of next season he's ready to step in and take half the workload.
I'm pretty sure the Ducks/Kings game is going to a shootout tied at 0.
Yes, ignore De Haan getting dummied by Kessel and Seidenberg not only screening Halak but letting Geno have his way with him.Halak = sieve. Just look at this goal he let up on Malkin the other night. Brutal.
