well considering Rick Dipetro is still getting paid then I dont think so :)

I can not disagree with your list in all seriousness. I always felt Mario was the better all around player i also agree with The Dominator in the top 10

It's interesting b/c I made the list a couple times and each time I did I thought 'I can't believe I left this player off (Jagr for example). Bossy, Roy, and Jagr who @dash all had were all ones I considered at the bottom of my top 10. But for me, i think Brodeur was the more impressive between him and Roy and I think Hasek's talent was better than both of them, even if his structure/discipline was as good as neither. You could make a good argument for any of them to be in the top 10 and for which was the best of the three.

Tough choices.

Likewise, how did I leave Sidney Crosby off my top 10? I think he would definitely be there if we only consider skaters (i.e. no goalies).

Top 4 for me.

1. Gretzky
2. Howe
3. Lemieux
4. Orr

After that I start to think about way too many names.....Jagr, Brodeur, Beliveau, Ricard, Ovechkin, Crosby, Lindstrom, Lafleur, Roy, Hasek, Hull(s), Messier (puke), Bossy, Bourque, Esposito, Coffey, Yzerman, Dryden and Sakic.

^ and what gets lost in the top 10 lists are current in the end their numbers show they could possibly be in the conversations at some point.
Like McDavid, Kucherov, Makar, McKinnon, Draisatl, Kane, Fleury, Stamkos, Rantanen, Matthews and Bobrovsky to name a few.

Sooner or later like baseball we will have to split these up into different generations. Because a lot of the older players chances of having the rings to show greatness was higher due to less teams.

On the lack of rings, players like Dionne and Lundqvist get overlooked.

Oh man, I totally forgot him too. I guess I could edit it, but .... nope, I can't anymore. Darn.

Hamburglar >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Ovenchicken

Grimace rules them all... and in the darkness binds them.

Hamburglar: But why is he purple?
Ovechkin: "He probably has sensitive skin."
