This is what I've been thinking all along. Switching Columbus with Nashville could work too.

Nashville seems to be the best fit for the Southeast division but would the NHL really want to put a Central Time Zone team in the Eastern Conference when there are still 2 Eastern Time Zone teams in the west? Especially since Colombus just as easily slide in there.

I think its a tough call but unless the league scraps divisions and just go with 2 conferences, I can't see any way that Detroit would move to the Eastern Conference as a lot of people (not just Red Wings fans) seem to be hoping.

Philly could move to the SE and then CBus into the ATL. Just a thought by looking at the map, not something I'd support because it'd kill our rivalry just a bit.

there's the simple way of doing it, in which I think moving Columbus into the SE (Travel wouldn't be that bad at all) and Winnipeg to take their spot in the Central.

Job done.

Dallas needs to come out of the Pacific too. Either that or rename "Pacific" to "Southwest".
