Very unlikely. Why? Because I expect the Flyers to at least finish top three within the division, which keeps them away from the division winners in round one.

It's possible, but those teams have some work to do. I do however think the Flyers are playing better hockey than either of them right now and 9 of their last 15 games are on home ice. The competition will be tough, but that's only going to keep them focused and playing at a very high level.

We pretty much know the 8 playoff teams from the East. Pit, Boston, Toronto, TB, Philly, NYR, CBJ, Montreal, Detroit. One of those teams wont make it.

Thats because they are in the Metro division. They would would be fighting for a WC if they were in the Atlantic and out of the playoffs in the west.

Jackets and Flyers also within striking distance of Montreal at 79 points in the wild Card race. One game in hand on the Habs for both.
