Nathan MacKinnon seems to be the early favourite to go 1st overall in 2013. That's all I know at this point.

Yeah I just read an article about him over at the swamp.

Apparently he is another candidate to go 1st overall. Apparently his dad played in the NBA. I wonder if that would make them the 1st ever father/son NBA/NHL duo.

nah, never been good at getting a solid feel for prospects like i would for bball n football.

I'm the same way. Football's a little easier since I live in SEC territory. It's really to the point where is straight-up annoying.
