NHL '13

Thinking of pre-ordering this game. Anyone know if there are any perks or reduced price if you pre-order? Also any screen shots or or details of the game out yet? I've been looking but can't tell if its NHL '13 or '12 reviews that they are talking about.

I played '12 and had a blast, but not willing to pay $60 for a game that will be out of date within a few months. Anyone here planning on getting '13?

I play into the systems hands and buy the new 1 every year, usually if you pre order they give you some free shit to download and use in game.

It was comparable IMO the real jump was from 10' to 11' they did alot then. Generally though they make small improvements to the game.

Yeah, I felt 11 tweaked just enough to make it close to perfect (losing equipment, more realistic breakaway shooting). Haven't played 12 yet. Haven't heard enough on 13 to say whether or not it's worth an upgrade. I'm going to need more classic players than what they offered in 12 to pay full price.

Still, I have been put off by the equipment bonuses in Be-a-Pro ever since 10.

I didn't really like NHL12 though I am not sure why. My first impressions were good but I played this version less than any other. I am not sure I played 10 total hours.

Fucking online glitching, shitty AI, and bad simming. I love the series, but something never change.

I have NHL 12 and I enjoyed it. Keep in mind of course that it's the first NHL game that I had purchased since NHL 05 so I can't compare it to any of the more recent titles. I love that it's got CHL teams in it, I just wish they'd model the real CHL arenas. That would be sweet. I also don't play online so that's not an issue for me.
