Randall McDaniel?

Edit: Looked it up and I'm wrong. He made 12 straight from his 2nd season. 1989-2000.

Apparently it was indeed a terrible game. Also the first Bowl played on turf

It was awful...and others earlier in the thread were way off on their points. The Jets won #3, the Chiefs beat the Vikings in #4 and the game he won MVP was #5. I'm nitpicking..but still if your going to state something at least fact check it.
1-2 Packers
3 - Jets
4- Chiefs
5 - Colts
6- Cowboys
7 -8 - Dolphins
9-10 - Steelers
11 Raiders - Last game played entirely in daylight...Vikings last shot with Purple People Eaters
12 Cowboys
13-14 - Steelers
15 - Raiders
16 - 49ers
17 - Redskins - Strike season and this is where the NFL started to become the real America's game, or USA's game
18 - Raiders
19 - 49ers
20 - Bears
21 - Giants
22 - Redskins This is 1997 and the next t5 years were an odd mix where teams knew free agency was coming, so many teams began to rethink ideas

if you don't know how they went down after this, do some historical research...but new rules and roster limitations from the 82 strike really started to make an impact and the 87 strike made them enforceable. The next watershed moment was 1992 with actual free agency, but up until 92 it was a draft and develop league. There can be arguments that the 82 strike was more important than the 87 strike, but without actual free agency, it probably wasn't as important. It was important to the future of the NFL, but not quite the impact of the 87 strike.

The above should be fairly easy, so I'll give you a more difficult one.

The 1985 Bears have been regarded as one of, if not the best defense in NFL history. That stated, they had 2 starters from the 1984 season hold out for the entire 1985 season in a contract dispute. Who were those 2 players?

Todd Bell definetley.....
The other has slipped my mind, but I wanna say Al Harris.....

I found Jim Otto after my initial wrong pick. He was AFL the first half of his career and for some reason they don't list him as a pro-bowler his first season (1960) even though he made their 1st team all-pro. Maybe the AFL didn't do pro bowlers in 1960? But he would have made it his first 13 years counting 1960.

Wow now that's some damn good info. I like it. Thanks for finding that. My guess is as good as yours. It's gotta be the AFL thing. Nothing else would make sense.

what player scored a touchdown against his own team in an NFL game.
I dont know about a Touchdown.
But sounds like Jim Marshall of the Minnesota Vikings.
I think if you score a Touchdown against your own team its called a safety.
So dont know if I am talking the same thing as you. :noidea:

I've checked with the judges and my question is worded correctly.
