OK fascinating googling...it's sort of a trick question as the Vikings formed in 1961 but the AFL teams started in 1960 (so Bills, Chargers, Oilers/Titans, etc) all started before Vikings and never have won...an NFL championship. All 3 of those teams won AFL titles

This link about the AFL is fascinating. Only existed 10 years, in 1966 of course they still had a championship game as the Chiefs won the AFL title The Chiefs then of course lost to the Packers in the first Super Bowl

Wasn't until Super Bowl V (Colts won) for the 1970 season that all the teams were in the NFL

Based on wording of your question "never won a championship" Vikings is not the correct answer.

Vikings have 1 NFL championship for 1969 NFL season... NFL and AFL merger happened after the 1969 season and the Vikings are credited with 1 NFL championship.

They lost in Super Bowl IV to the Chiefs after the NFL championship game.
