Also, today DirectTV is running a speacial. $300 for the season. Offer ends at midnight. The quality of Niner play today will affect my decision. A big win by the Niners and I'm in. A poor showing and I'm sticking to radio or video streams. I got it for free last year and it's pretty nice....however, I'm also pretty frugal.

Sunday Ticket is $300 in the US? Damn. It's $160 in Canada give r take a few bucks depending on your provider.

Actually Imac, I believe the price is $370 per season. The $300 price is until midnight.

Damn. One of the satellite providers here had a deal where you could get Sunday Ticket and NHL Center Ice (every NHL game) for $131.00 total. That was for the entire season of both.

They run single season deals in the US. Last year, they called my and said since I had been a subscriber for so long (about 15 years), they threw me Sunday Ticket and all the movie packages for 6 months. I viewed it as bait...and it was somewhat effective. I could care less about the movie packages but Sunday Ticket is nice.

This year in the US, new subscribers are getting Sunday Ticket for free. They politely told me to piss off this year......so I'm at a crossroads. Sunday Ticket or Game Pass.
