Thought it was fitting with all the great press the 49ers have been receiving this off season, what in the fuck is going on in Minny ?? I bet no one would have guessed the Rams would have the fewest either.

As much as I hate Woody, he has always pushed for high character guys......good stat to show it.

That's Aldon Smiths record? What about the rest of the team?

Oh, Rams fans know all about the four pillars that were required to be a high character Rams draft pick. None of those pillars involved talent, though.

Good post but I would like to see the record from 2010 until now. Many of those teams will change ranks I'm sure.

You guys seem to have a lot of players with talent, your coaching staff just cant seem to get the most out of them, reminds me of the underachieving 49er teams before Harbaugh took over.

I wonder how many of those arrests in Minny were directly involved with that love boat scandal

There are some similarities with Alex Smith and Sam Bradford but the Rams have some more complex issues to deal with. Jeff Fisher is definitely a better coach than Singletary was but the secondary players on offense and defense are a bit of a mess. The Rams also have to deal with a much, much tougher division than the Niners did back when they were underachieving.

Jeff Fisher doesn't seem to mind taking on guys with character risks so I wont be surprised to see some boneheaded players get arrested at some point. But you have to take that risk in the NFL. A team full of boy scouts would go 0-16

Smith is a much better QB than Bradford IMO. More physical talent and a better decision maker.

Smith just got constantly shafted.

I can appreciate the 9er fan's attempt at deflection of the current issues at hand, but in looking at that list I cant recall 20 Seahawks that were arrested since 2000.
In know Leroy Hill was arrested about 20 times, but I don't recall the other 2.

sarcasm: off

Smith is currently a better QB than Bradford but there was a time when Alex Smith was pretty awful.

Bradford has been constantly shafted, too. Year 1 was with almost zero surrounding talent. Year 2 he was banged up and had a new OC (McDaniels) and somehow had less surrounding talent than Year 1 due to injuries around him. Year 3 was yet another new OC and he showed improved numbers with more consistency. Year 4 was last year and he was looking like a middle of the road starting QB before the injury. If you throw out Year 2 then you kind of get an idea of who Bradford is when he is healthy. He is a game manager but he was actually throwing TDs in Year 4 which had been a weakness previously.

Smith was never awful. He had a new offensive coordinator literally on a yearly basis for like 7 years. No one can work with that.
