I have the Broncos and Cards.

Mainly because both my daughter and I respectively have them in our season long money pool.

That and the Broncos are my son's team!

:suds:

I'll always pull for the NFC West. Go Cardinals. Hope they make it 4 years in a row the NFC West has made it to the Superbowl.
I almost agree with you SJ, I like to see them make it to the Superbowl but not win it.

However this year is an exception, because there is a huge $$ difference in the Superbowl champs and the Superbowl contender in our money league!

Go Cardinals!

No Zeke. Not retired by a long shot.

I thought that you were older than I? I still have another 4 years to work! .....55 and counting!

Me too! My heart says Arizona but my head says Carolina! I hope either one destroys New England!

For many, age has little to do with it. It sounds like you've done well though zeke to make that happen! Congrats on making it work.

For me, I may work till the day I die! Right now I have this older gentleman working for me in a sales capacity out of San Diego and he is 96! Still brings in a decent paycheck.

Last year he drove his Honda by himself from SD to St. Louis, Missouri (Of all place) and back to visit family. He took about 6 weeks off but I believe working this long has kept him around and vital.

I AM older than you Zeke and enjoy working. I am in the Vita camp on this one. Probably going to work until I cease existing.

Me too, but for financial reasons. Can't see being in a financial position to retire.

43 years on my job and will stay as long as I am upright. The insurance issue by itself has me staying forever. As for this next weekend, I was surprised that the Panthers beat the Seahawks but that being said, I think the Cardinals will be playing the Patriots in #50.

By the way, I am ordering this jersey for my trip to see the Rams this first season back. Dick Bass was my favorite player growing up from when I first saw him in 62 through the 60s.

Understood....When you get older you have to do something to keep your mind busy! As long as you are physically capable of doing that. Right now I do 2 things, I worked at a factory doing development work and I manage apartments. When I say retire, I mean give up the factory job. I will continue to work being a land lord as long as possible like you say. I am at a point in my life "health wise" that yah I am beginning to slow down but I still feel like a big kid! Got to stay strong!

Well kids, I just turned 60, 5 years ago I left the real world behind, currently help a friend out 2 days a week, for some pocket money. I started my 401k late in life, so won't have a lot there, for you younger kids I highly recommend dumping as much in there as you can! I saved well and worked 2 jobs most of my life, I'm by no means rich, not even close, but next month I will go to Dallas for a month, i do every year, then when I return, get my season golf pass and I golf every day. After I got divorced I bought a small house, it's paid for, both vehicles are paid for.

What I'm trying to say, you have to do what you have to do, but to many people live way beyond their means, life isn't about working all your life and then being to old or in to bad of health to enjoy the rest of your life. I have known to many friends that worked their whole life at the John Deere factory and within a year of retirement they were dead, some people are work alcoholics and enjoy that, but no thank you, that's not what life is all about! Try to do what you can now before you are unable to do it?

Well, barring some type of huge comeback, my prediction for the Super Bowl was only half right since Arizona has just looked flat out awful all game. Anyways, at least one douchebag got sent home in Tom Brady. Hope that the other douchebag, Cam Newton, gets familiar with the turf in the Super Bowl like Brady did today.

I don't think Arizona has looked awful, the credit goes to the Panthers, they are good.

Got to disagree. The Cardinal secondary has been playing extremely sloppy and Palmer just doesn't have his head in the game from what I see.

If I was a ref, every time Newton did that garbage after a first down, I'd flag him for taunting. I can't stand that shit.

That is the normal Palmer, the man has one career playoff win and that was last week at home. Picking against him today was easy pickings.
