Millen still remains the only Lions GM to draft a HOF WR. Took him enough tries, but he did it.

you do have to give the guy is credit..he did get Megatron, and Roy WIlliams wasn't a complete waste either, he just wasn't as good as his pedigree sold him to be. BIg Mike Williams though..geesh

Telling Drew Brees he didn’t need him because he had a QB still stings.

The story goes he wanted to draft DeMarcus Ware, but took Fat Mike after a year of not playing anyway.

I try to remember the player Millen and the announcer Millen, that I loved. But it’s hard, the sound of his voice alone raises my blood pressure.

Hmm..I realize I just had the Raiders pick Carter and he is rumored to be off their board entirely. I guess by default I'm predicting two trades and or unlikely picks. I think Chicago or Philly would trade up for Carter.

Good chance to add some contributors this weekend. And that defense needs all the contributors it can get. Excited to see who ends up being the last guy we get for Stanford on Thursday.

Hmm..I realize I just had the Raiders pick Carter and he is rumored to be off their board entirely. I guess by default I'm predicting two trades and or unlikely picks. I think Chicago or Philly would trade up for Carter.

I still find it hard to buy into 4 straight QB's, too many trades need to happen, and with a guy like Herndon, who may very easily be the best QB of the entire class anyways, lurking in the shadows for anyone willing to have some patience, I just can't see enough teams willing to pay that kind of price tag that it'll take to get there. I can see 4 in the top ten..not the top five. Either Richardson or Levis falls to the Raiders.

I do think we'll see five in rd1 but its hard to know exactly how high they'll go. Teams are floating around the idea that they only have 15-20 first round grades. Not a strong top of the draft. I think a risk at QB might seem more palatable.

I have four going top four but Hooker legitimately being in the mix could dilute the value of whoever the fourth QB is. If Lamar Jackson gets traded for some crazy reason it would also likely push a QB down the board.

I personally think Tennessee is all-in on finding a QB and moving on from Tannehill. I think they'll trade up and then send Tannehill to Atlanta where all of the old Titans go. Atlanta probably wants to win now. I think all of the teams in the AFC South might be spooked that Trevor Lawrence is going to be in their division for the next 15 years.

So 3-4 QBs should go high if there are that many good prospects because there are four teams there who want them. If there are actually five good prospects, though, then we might see the need to trade up go away.

I guess it depends how you look at the odds. Some might show the odds of the #1 pick and then show the odds of the top-rated players going first.
But i found a site that ranked each of the top 10 picks. Even to them, number 10 was a headscratcher since Philly owns it and already has a good O-line.
We all know strange things do happen.

Maybe he learned. Tebow was a 1st. Carr was a 1st. He does have Jimmy G. He could wait on a QB and do it the right way.
