NFL 24 Player Salary Draft Chat

Went to the old nfl drafts and looked at who participated then send out invites. Hope we can get 1 more newbie for the draft. Always like to have 2 new guys for UK to take advantage of during trading.

I want to propose a increase in salary. I think it should be high to maybe $120 million. I asked Smitty if he wanted to join and his point why he was hesitant to is because it seems your only drafting scrubs or guys with shortened careers which I agree. 24 guys for only $100mill means you can spend $4.16 mill per player. The $4 million dollar players according to their pro bowls, all-pro, etc info are a little above good players. Now I understand this cap is to make it harder to find a quality team under that cap but I also think its hurting us. So could be raise the cap up a little so we can draft a few (3-5) HOF players?

I agree with both you and Smitty and will increase the cap to $120M but will also make a rule stating you CANNOT draft more than 5 Hall of Famers.

I feel you should be able to draft however many HOFers you want. Your team will suffer in the end because you wont be able to find anyone else. Just my opinion. 5 HOFers X $15mill = $75million. $120-75 = $45 million left for 19 players equals $2.3 million per player. Good luck filling a quality team.

Hey now,.....I said I was afraid of screwing up the draft.....

But I did say stuff about scrubs and guys that got hurt too, but that was my secret draft strategy!

You can take an undrafted player(namedrop coming) like Tony Romo for example, yes, and he would count towards the year he first made a roster. All Decade, simply google NFL All Decade, Hall of Fame, All Pro, Pro Bowl, whatever, and there are a ton of other team sites, football reference, etc

just wondering is there any all decaders that didn't make the HOF?? Besides of course the ineligible...
