I had other returners I wanted more but they costed too much. I settled on metcalf, but he is still one of the all time best.

Big Ben is a solid value pick. Lots of people underrate him, though, so I decided against him but he is pretty good.

Is a guy who went to 5 pro bowls but no all pros only $2 mil?

Oh I love the Big Ben pick but I would have waited or went with Favre. You saved $13mill by taking Big Ben over Young and now can spend it else where. Knowing others have a QB gives me the flexibility to wait and spend my money evenly and decide if I want a $15M HOFer or Favre at $4M. Great pick again UK.

I disagree with who is better. I think Favre is better then Ben. My debate is take $15M Unitas or take $4M Favre. Yes Unitas is by far better but that's $11M in savings. I am weighing the players I could have vs what I can't if I take Favre over Unitas. I take Favre and I can take a few more All Pro guys instead of just pro bowlers.

Gun to my head Id take Big Ben over Farve in one game. Farve has made some of the best and some of the worst plays Ive seen a high level QB make. In an 'all timers' kind of game, Ben would make a lot of the older, smaller pass rushers bounce right off of him although he hold onto the ball too long to play in the older eras where the oline was hampered.

As long as the player isn't a 1st or 2nd all decade guy yes he would only cost $2M
