I'm not sure what your definition of "early" is but mine wouldn't be leaving at 13:44 of the 4th quarter like Vernon Davis did.
I just went and looked at the box score and im trying to figure out how the 49ers lost Vernon davis at the 1344 mark when the seahawks offense was on the field at that time. I cant find when he actually left the game I was thinking it was in the 3rd quarter but even if it was just at the 1344 mark that's still pretty big to be down to just boldin as a threat and only down by two possessions at the time. if you look back at the game its appears that it didn't get out of hand for the 49ers until they started losing key players, Ian Williams early(on a cheap cut block that knocked him out all season) eric reid and Vernon.

Hopefully this game both teams stay healthy all game and after. I would hate for the only reason the NFC west doesn't win the Lombardi is because they beat each other up!!!!!!!!!!

You made him look like an old man because he was the only receiving threat the 49ers had in that game. How old did he look in the 2nd game this season when Sherman was hanging all over him and he still made 6 catches for 93 yards? the difference was the 49ers had 3 guys that the seahawks had to cover in the 2nd game while they had just boldin to worry about in the first game.

And the problem was they were putting Sherman on him when he's the worst kind of receiver for him to cover. Sherman's built to cover guys like Crabtree and a guy like Boldin's going to overpower him. The problem with him is he's not too quick and if you get a good bump with a little help over the top then there shouldn't be too many issues.

And BTW, neither team has anything to thump it's chest about as far as the passing game goes because it was a pretty mediocre performance by both passing offenses. The difference is who's going to be able to squeek something out of nothing because both offenses are overmatched.

On another note, Heath Evans of the NFL Network predicts that Golden Tate will be one of the players that has a big game for Seattle. I hope he's right. I honestly don't have much confidence in the productivity of our passing offense.

Now I remember. I think I blocked those details out of my memory bank. :(

He was probably hurt before that & this was the play that convinced him he should take a seat. Hamstring injuries are like that; it's not like a broken bone or concussion; they can happen gradually.

And we know it wasn't just an ego injury because he sat out the following week against the Colts, and he was bothered by the injury for a few weeks after that.

Odds have held steady at Seattle -3.5 and the over has gone up to 40. I'm sure those values will hold through game time.

Stopping Frank Gore will be the key to winning the game for Seattle. I would almost say that having KJ Wright back for this game is more important than having Percy Harvin

You can win without Harvin but he would be far more important to have than Wright.

9ers really don't have anyone that can effectively deal with Harvin and with Ponder throwing him the ball he put up 9 catches and 89 yards against them last season. That's not to mention 3 returns for 74 yards.

The reason you brought in Harvin was for games like this to give you the edge when you play great teams in the playoffs.

Are you guys really going to spend a few pages arguing over who had the ball at what time in a past game?

There are plenty of things that can be used for smack talk for this game. That isn't one of them.

Did you hear Baldwin say he doesn't have a chip on his shoulder!

Baldwin "It's more like a Boulder" He has some serious disrespect for his old coach LiarHarbaugh.
And I love it.

I bet our first play is a big pass. And Hopefully Baldwin hauls it in for a TD.

If it is, this is great news because it means we probably got a turnover on defense as I don't expect to see Baldwin hauling in an 80 yard TD.

btw I think if Niners win the toss they will defer for two reasons. 1. let their Defense loose on our offense and try to get a 3 and out and punt which may give them better FP than a kickoff return, and 2. They don't want to let Carroll get what he wants which is to start the 2nd half with the ball.

I really need to go to sleep soon, so tomorrow will come quicker. Maybe I can sleep until 3pm.

If KJ Wright doesn't break his foot in the first half in SF, Seattle wins that game because his replacement did not fill the running lane that Gore ran through for 51 yards to essentially seal the game.

I am not sure your secondary can cover the receivers we have now, they couldn't contain a hobbled Steve Smith last week and they made Ginn look like an all pro.
