Well I think T Jak would be the best opition also, but since I've been wrong all off season about what the Seahawks will/would do, I'm in a wait and see mode.

I like Colt McCoy, more than most people from what I've heard from fans, but there is no way I take him over TJack. Not only has TJack got more experience, more success and better all around numbers, but he's more athletic and has a much better understanding of the Seahawks offense than McCoy has of the Browns offense, let alone the 9ers. I feel for McCoy, and he really should be the starter in Cleveland, as he was by far the better QB last year on that team, not to mention that he was the one that was 4 years younger, but Jackson is still being beat up for his perceived shortcomings when he was in Minnesota.

I like Colt McCoy and I actually think he would be a better QB than Tarvaris Jackson.

I'm happy the Bills released Tarvaris Jackson so that the Seahawks could pick him up him, I hated watching him play as a starter but he is a much better backup than Brady Quinn.

But back to the point, what you said about Tarvaris Jackson's experience and numbers is true but I would take Colt McCoy over Tarvaris Jackson mostly on a speculation basis. I feel like Colt McCoy is capable of being an Alex Smith type game manager in the NFL, he was just in a horrible place with the Browns. He had no talent around him, a run game for only one season and I have to think pretty hard just to name one Browns WR who was on the roster while McCoy was there.

I think that in San Fransisco where he has much more talent and a much more competent coaching staff that has demonstrated with Colin Kaepernick and Alex Smith that they can adjust a game plan to a player, Colt McCoy would be a better starting QB with the 49ers than Tarvaris Jackson would be with the Seahawks.

Not sure I would agree with McCoy being better on the 49ers then TJ on the Seahawks for 2013, only because TJ knows this offense. I think McCoy has more talent and moving forward will become the better backup over time.

Also I feel the Seahawks had targeted McCoy as their first choice as as backup and the 49ers snuck in and grabed him. Score one for the 49ers IMO.
