I don't know if any of the 4-7 teams have a shot, Dallas, New Orleans and Chicago. Chicago has a much tougher schedule than New Orleans and Dallas, but I don't know if they can catch anybody above them. I wouldn't be surprised if the 7th seed has 10 wins, but we've seen tie breakers and could be a several team mess at 9-7.

i think Tampa could easily catch the Falcons.

even with an Atlanta sweep of Tampa which would be an epic meltdown if it happens.

Schedule looks easy, yeah. Two with Carolina, the Raiders, Cowboys, Saints all winnable. Chargers game looks like the toughest.

NFC West is a total crap shoot. Which ever team can get some momentum will win the division (looking like Seattle today, but who knows). Plenty of head to heads left in the division.

Boy the NFC West is really up for grabs. I didn't realize how wide open that was.

I like the current division winners and the nfc north teams as wildcards right now, possibly commanders if they can right the ship.

I think all 3 will be in, if it takes 10, then the Vikings need to win 1 more game and the Packers 2. While they do play each other, I don't think any of the 5 or 6 win teams will catch them. It will take a pretty epic collapse for any not to make it.

How I see it shaking out is Lions, Eagles, and Falcons winning their divisions. Packers, Vikings and Washington getting the wild card plus the NFC West winner. They all play at least 2 more division games and most have at least 2 games against better teams.

Tampa could get in, but they've already been swept by Atlanta, so they would have to go on a real tear, which they could, but 1 game behind right now makes it a tough task. It might come down to Tampa, Atlanta and Washington for the last spot and South title.

Washington needs to win 2 of these for sure to have a shot and 3 should put them squarely in.

Yup, I know it's 17 but after years of 16 and using those numbers it's almost habitual.

I have a hard time not seeing 3 teams from NFCN get in

which of MN/GB do you expect to collapse, even if MN loses out, they're 9-8, and I don't see any reason to think they're going to lose out. If they go 2-4, they're still 11-6



GB is playing well, don't see them going sub 500

I’m pretty sure the Lions, Packers and Vikings will all make the playoffs, leaving just 1 Wild Card remaining.
I could also see the Bucs catching my Falcons given how easy the Bucs remaining schedule is, hope we can hang on but it will be a tight race down the stretch. Whoever doesn’t win the division could possibly contend for the last WC slot if both teams finish strong.
I’m sure the Eagles will win the East, I’m interested to see if the Commanders/Skins get back on track or have a total free fall, because they aren’t looking good at all right now. They outperformed expectations early on and are crashing back to earth now.
The NFC West is very tight, the Cards have the easiest schedule remaining but I’m not sure if they are strong enough to win the division. I kind of like the Rams to win the division despite getting blown out last night. If the Seahawks win at home against the Packers/Vikings they are definitely in the driver’s seat but those are two good teams and the rest of their games are on the road.

It will be a fun finish!
