^ In fairness, there's a good argument to be made that Carson Wentz hasn't played in two "real" NFL games yet.

:-p

Just kidding, mostly. I'd be thrilled with how Wentz has performed if I were an Eagle fan. Y'all can't help that you've played Cleveland and Chicago.

Yeah, the Steelers will obviously be a big test. I suspect we lose. Still, if Philly could go 3-1 in the first four, which seems possible with Washington after Pittsburgh, well, that would be a hell of a lot better than I expected. Heck even 2-2 while grooming a rookie QB would have been OK by me a few weeks ago.

Ouch, Shane Vereen out for the season with a triceps injury that will require surgery

Welcome to the New NFL. Gone are the days when guys played through a season with these types of injuries. Joe Namath would have never been the player he is if he sat out most of a season after a knee injury or torn muscle. I think Favre and sadly Romo, are the last of a dieing breed of NFL player.

Remember Ronnie Lott having the tip of his finger removed so he wouldn't miss game time?
