You all have to be excited, Romo out and a win against NY, the season doesn't look so bleak after all.
You know I hate Dallas but I take no joy in seeing your team hit by these last two big injuries.

2 games in. NFL is crazy... Week to week league.

That is the beauty of the NFL. There is generally a fair amt of unpredictability & injuries play a huge factor. This makes a lot of the media look like morons which brings a smile to my face. I seem to recall that a lot of these buffoons were labeling the Redskins as the worst team in the last 20 years recently. At least for today that does not appear to be true.

Good for you standing up for the team on the main board. I didn't realize that you had it in you. HTTR

All yours boys, time to take it.

Eagles look as bad as I have ever seen in my four decades of watching the team. Dallas has Brandon Weeden at QB. It's between the Redskins and Giants now.

Does this look like a playoff QB to you?

It's 2 games in. I don't believe for a minute that the Eagles will look like that for the rest of the season. Got to see how the team and Chip responds. You've got a lot of talent on that roster.

I do agree that yesterday's game was about as sloppy of a penalty fest as I've ever seen.

As to the division, lot of weak spots on each of the teams. It will be interesting to see who can take advantage. Lot of games to be played. Week to week league. And health Remains the eternal equalizer.

Cowboys' Tony Romo headed for IR boomerang - NFL.com

NFL Media's Albert Breer reported Tuesday that Romo will be placed on the injured reserve/designated to return list, according to a team source. The move ensures Romo will miss at least the next eight weeks. He is eligible to return to action for theCowboys' Week 11 matchup against the Miami Dolphins.

Todd Archer of ESPNDallas.com had the first report.

Romo suffered a fractured collarbonein the second half of the Cowboys' 20-10 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. On Monday, Romo confirmed the injury will not require surgery. It is the same collarbone that Romo broke during the 2010 season, causing him to missing the final 12 games of the season.

Brandon Weeden will start on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. Weeden played well in relief duty against the Eagles, finishing 7 of 7 for 73 yards and a touchdown. The Cowboys have not ruled out signing another veteran passer while Romo mends.

So Dallas will be without Romo at least until week 11.

IM shocked it has taken some one this long to figure it out. Actually Im even more shocked if any one from Dallas admits to it. Logically if you are using a flash card system to call in your plays, you are basically daring teams to NOT take advantage of it. And the concept of changing the flash cards on a weekly or rotating basis would cause more harm than good. Say your QB has a brain fart at a critical moment, and calls the combination for last weeks cards on 3rd and 2 and throws a timing route when the rest of the team thinks it was supposed to be a sweep left. I have no doubt the issue is fixable, but its going to take away Chips biggest advantage in the speed he wants his offense to run at.

Pretty solid assessment of the skins I'd say. Not world beaters at this point but on the road to improvement if they can stay the current course.
