Any one else find it interesting that Hardy's suspension lasts just long enough for him to miss all the NFCEast games except ours??

Just saying

His appeal will leave him suspended for 2 games.

IM going to guess his appeal will get him cleared just in time to miss both games against the Giants. Mr. Burns will have Smithers see to it.

Damn Mara. I forgot about him.

My two games come from the precedence the NFL set prior to the new punishment guidelines. The NFL has already been told they cannot use the new punishments on violations before the current rule went into effect.

True, but the NFL's out will be that the punishment wasnt put in place until AFTER they learned the full extent of his infraction. And while he was on the Exempt list, I believe he still got paid, much like when Haynesworth was suspended by the team for conduct detrimental to the team... we got a roster exemption. But he still got paid. So he might be able to appeal on the grounds that the punishment was based on the new rules, but not on the grounds that he has already been punished for it. Because basically he got most of last year off with pay I believe.

Greg Hardy of Carolina Panthers expected to be placed on exempt list

Doesn't matter the crime was before the new rules.

If you commit murder in 2013, your state votes in the Death Penalty in 2014, you get arrested, charged and convicted in 2015 you cannot be given the death penalty.

The punishment established at the time of the infraction is they punishment the can give you, not more.

I do agree last year will have no bearing on the final punishment

I am so glad Chip cashiered this fool...
Gonna be interesting to see how it pans out. Since it's mainly about the women running his life, it may show a more complete picture of him. But it seems like a distraction to me. Dude likes to get attention no doubt.

No one can ever say that Desean Jackson cares about winning more than being rich and famous because he clearly doesn't.
