2014 – Owe first-rounder (top-8 protected in 2014, top-pick protected in 2015, unprotected in 2016) to Charlotte Bobcats (Corey Maggette).

That most loaded is still all potential. Let's see what they actually do. I don't believe the Pistons will be in the lottery anyhow. They still should have a lot of money coming off the books next year for free agents unless they trade away some expiring contracts, and if they do that in combination with the off season so far I think they will be sitting pretty. After the draft, smith, and luigi they have some depth and are only lacking a PG with good court vision (unless BK finally surprises me) and some leadership from the players (hopefully someone steps up).
