Its one year, we'll see if its real as the year goes on, or if hitters adjust to him in year 2

But yeah he's been pretty good in year one so far

.....I'm not in either corner on this guy just yet. To be frank, I've seen about 3 innings of him pitching for real. The rest is based on reading opinions, seeing stats, etc.

But why some here have buried this guy I don't understand.

I don't remember the article/author, but someone wrote about 3/4 weeks ago about Tanaka and the key point - at least I thought so - of the article was what heart he had.

We'll see and it's a long time to go in this and of course, till the end of his contract. Great deal, bad deal?

I see a lot of Yankee games and he impresses me for sure. The stuff isn't as good as darvish but I still believe he will end up being a #2 for the long haul if he doesn't keep this up

Not watching and not sure if it was indeed called by Wash but he seems dead set on guys executing the bunt even with 2 strikes. It's not a high percentage or good move which is why it's not generally a move other players or managers choose with 2 strikes
