Freddy Sanchez has agreed to a 1-year $6 million extention through 2012.

A very tradable contract should Culberson burst upon the scene early.

Also, Fucking dodger fans. Giants fan is being treated after a head injury following last nights game. 2 dodger fans suspected.

And Randy Winn has retired after 13 season. Sadly, he never reached the post season, but he had a very solid career and was a great Giant. He will be coaching somewhere soon.

This is good news on Freddy. Doyerfan and wayduhfan are linked at the Thug...I fucking hate both those douchebag fan groups.

I like the extension. 6M is free in today's money for a solid starter.

I did not even think about the tradability aspect until you mentioned it. Good point.

I agree on Winn. He was here a year or two too long, but I will always be a fan. When he first came over, he was one of those spark-plug type guys that I LOVE to watch on the field. I was at a game at the litter-box where he hit a triple AND made a GREAT catch against the wall in center. That sold me on him forever.

Heard about the fan getting beat up last night - terrible, terrible story. There has been some violence between the fan bases of both teams. I did some research and found one story I vaguely remember about a young man who was a Giants fan that was shot and killed at Dodger Stadium back in '03:

Loyalty to your team is one thing, but this violence crap has gotta stop.

not saying its the case in this incident, but some people need to learn to shut up. tonight i went to the A's game. i was rocking my barry bonds jersey with a giants hat. this guy saw me, and we were yelling back and forth, joking around really. he made a motion like he was shooting up, i said when i walked in the stadium i saw a mural of the two who started the shit. it was just in fun, dude even threw me a couple pieces of bubble gum. but this fat bitch had to pipe up. called me a freak and apparently was cussing me out, i missed that part. i kindly asked if the tsunami caused her to beach and went back to watching the game. **** really didnt need to speak up.
