LETS. GO.

As is tradition, US and Canada face off in World Junior battle. US has run through group play with little issue, while Canada has had to battle in their past two meetings, dropping one in a SO and storming back to win the next.

Russians just tied Sweden 2-2 just over halfway through the 3rd period.

Canada needs a win in regulation over the US to win the group.

all this game means is a better seeding in the elimination rounds correct? I want to win but I want to play well defensively and in goal foremost even if we lose I want to see signs that this team can find the balance.

but I do want them to slaughter the US :D

I haven't watched Canada yet but was surprised to see they kinda struggled their last two games. The US needs to tighten our game up a bit and not have let downs that happened at certain points in the previous games. Against a team like this, those letdowns will almost certainly turn into goals. I am pumped to watch this one...USA! USA! USA! :yahoo:

Last game, I don;t know about struggling. I mean we outshot them 49-22. Would have been a runaway if not for all the damn pps the Slovaks were gift wrapped.

Like I said I didn't watch it...by struggle I meant you guys were down late in the game. I didn't realize the shots were that one sided
