I blame Jimmy Howard. He's actually a great goalie, but if you look at his shootout record/stats he's one of the worst.

It's easy enough to point at a goalie and blame him for shootout losses, but if you've watched Detroit do shootouts on a regular basis you'd see that we just don't score in them. Period.

They weren't even trying to do anything to fake the goaltender out tonight. 5 shots right into him and one flubbed shot that glided harmlessly into the corner.

It's a spectacular thing to watch, really.

Take five strides, shoot the puck at the logo on the goalies jersey, go back to the bench with a 1/2 ass look of concern on your face. HOF kind of stuff really.
