spy machinesBeen using an Acer (had my doubts about liking it so I went cheap) Chromebook for my web surfing needs when at home for the last 2 years and still really like it. If this one was to shit the bed I would, and will, buy another one in a heartbeat. It's not great for too much offline stuff but, if you're only wanting something for browsing the internet, they're more than adequate.

thats crazzzzzzzyI only paid just over 200 bucks...about half price. It was listed new and still had the plastic on it. I don't know if the seller plugged it in and it would charge...so, he just sold it cheap? That would be stupid because it was still under factory warranty.
It was just like this one...out of the box but new from a guy with 100% positive feedback: Toshiba Satellite Radius 11 Touchscreen Intel Quad-Core 4GB 500GB HDMI LED WiFi
lol i know im kiddingMeh, not much for them to spy on when it comes to me. I'd be using Chrome whether I'm on this or my HP laptop anyway.

Typing on a good size tablet is easy. Go down to best buy and try out a iPad Air or surface, typing is a breeze. Just got to watch out for auto correct. Seriously I'm in a chair on the patio watching the grand daughter and her friend play while holding holding my tablet in one hand and typing with the other, so easy. You know I'm a cheap fuck. But for my office I spend a lot and buy the best stuff...big triple monitors and the fastest box, etc. But at home, with the little kids spilling shit all over and I'm just messin' around, why waste money on good stuff? A couple hunnerd on some deal or a restored machine and toss it in trash when it slips off the couch and cracks.
The tablet PC really makes sense at home though, IMO. Typing without a keyboard is insane. Why would anyone put up with a tablet? But it's nice to have that ability on rare occasion.

Laptop ties you down. You can't just walk around with it, like you can with a tablet. I can post while on the can, outside, or anywhere that gives me a Internet connection . Love it.I just can't deal with that. I'm on the computer all day so I type fast. Typing with one hand and hold the f'ing thing with the other seems crazy because it would take 4X longer.
I have a lot of people to insult and antagonize on the SportsHoopla. I can't waste an entire hand!
groupon has ipad air 2 on there for like 180 now i thinkTyping on a good size tablet is easy. Go down to best buy and try out a iPad Air or surface, typing is a breeze. I never actually taken my tablet to the can with me, just pointing out you can go anywhere with it. Don't you have to set your Toshiba down on something to type with a real keyboard?Tablet PC is the same though. The Toshiba I'm on now isn't any thicker than an Ipad. You just tend not to use the virtual keyboard when a real one is available. However, when takin' a shit? Yeah, I'd guess pad-mode is best then.

How do you like the Surface Pro? I think I'm going to get one of those once they make a couple more models of it.I like a good size tablet. Find the iPad Air just right. Own a old surface 2 , HP Stream, also a iPad mini. Next year the iPad gets larger. Still tablets have limitations.
If you want a laptop just for surfing, just keep checking around at Amazon, Walmart, eBay, best buy, someone will have a laptop for dirt cheap at some point. Just a matter of seeing it, before they have sold them.
