Comeds
Unreliable Narrator.
Hi folks, you know I am always open and receptive to the way the league tries to whore up, I mean gain new followers. I think I have a great idea which would take a nostalgic look back to the games beginnings and yet keep the excitement of today's action.
I present, the NHL Heritage Classic. Play the games in old arenas!
Built to house hockey tournaments way back in 1941, the Washington Coliseum eventually became famous for something else altogether.
Play a Caps-Pens (for some reasons its always got to be the Pens) here! A nod to the past and a wink to the future!
I know it looks bad, but its not really any difference than Nassau Coliseum and the Islanders just stopped using that.
I bet there are a lot of older arenas that can be used for various New Years Day games.
