If not, did you have a better draft than you planned on having or a worse??

I know for me, i was not planning on having no relievers, it was a choice i made during the draft because of the flow of the draft...
The only postion that went worse than i planned was MI by getting Alcides escobar...

But overall i like my draft a lot...

But overall i like my draft a lot...

mine did, until I realized we had 8 pitching spots instead of 9. I went with a 6th starter so that if anybody wanted to chase my pitchers, they would have to completely punt saves. After getting my pitching, I started loading up on power hitters, knowing I would have to punt OBP. The only thing I did wrong with my strategy was I kept pushing the pick of Villar back. I was figuring he could jump my SB.

In a quirky league like this, you have to have a strategy and you need to get a little lucky to win. My plan going in to the draft was not to have a plan, but to let the first few rounds dictate my strategy.

Once pitchers started flying off the board at a ridiculous pace, all the best values in the first 7 or 8 rounds were the bats. I loaded up. At that point, I had a choice. I could either load up on sleeper SPs or I could go with nothing but relievers. Since I would not have a chance to get out of a poor decision on a late round SP later on, I thought the reliever strategy was the best fit for the league, especially since pitcher injuries can only affect me in 1 category.

My offense is sick, capable of winning or finishing near the top in all 5 cats with good health, and I expect to get about 35 points from my pitching staff (top 2 in ERA, WHIP, and saves) along with 1 point each in Ks and Wins.

I think my team will be extremely hard to beat if the hitters can stay reasonably healthy.

That would be really stupid in a league like this where you can't replace anybody.

TLance, i love your offense, think its great... I see your offense and mine to be the 2 best offenses...
