Dude, my pitching is pretty much gonna suck, but I like my hitters so far.

I am really high on him, and with two Mets fans in the draft don't mind overreaching a little.

Also with the rest of my pitching staff, I don't think he hurts my WHIP and ERA that much. While helping my Ks and Ws.

I am not commenting on where zach wheeler went... it is the fact he finished his pitching off, and how he finished it off... But maybe he will prove me wrong... I just thought his rotation was so good that he should have waited and gotten a low end closer at the end of the draft...

Tough choice of going for the third closer or another starter. This was the end of my draft plan, now I just have to find hitting

Hopefully you prove me wrong, but i think the wheeler pick in the 10th round is the reason why you wont be "in the money"...

Could be. IMO it will come down to how I do in the next ten rounds and injuries.

I am just a little dissappointed because i was fascinated by your strategy... But i just think you went too far and missed a great opportunity...

There is another reason to my strategy of that pick, but since it affects the rest of the draft, ask me after we are done.

Always open to constructive criticism.

I'm liking Simmons a lot this year.

Wheeler does not hurt him, kind of silly to suggest that. He will still be top 2 or 3 in 4 pitching cats.

The problem? If he finishes first in ERA, WHIP, Ks, and Wins,

he will still need 40 points or so from the rest of his roster, and that is highly unlikely given how far behind he is offensively. The other issue is that I don't think he will finish first in all 4 of those cats. Top 2 or 3, sure, but anybody ignoring relievers can beat him in wins and Ks, and there are some other good pitching staffs who can win ERA and WHIP with a little luck.
