It seems to have gone unnoticed how Lou changed his forwards corp in the last few weeks. I've been really impressed and it fits deboer better.

They only have two soft skilled guys left on the roster with Josefson and Sykora. I love the additions of Bernier and Poni in place of Tedenby and Janssen. The Devs are playing tough every game and have battled out three wins this past week. I think this is the biggest Devils forward group in over a decade. Even the short guys play styles much larger than their height (Parise and Clarky).

Bernie has been quietly good, if not great. While he may nut stand out he certainly fits in.

Poni on the other hand. My god has he been a steal so far. He's been fantastic

yea, i dont get why anyone thought poni was bad. He's big, he hits, and he plays good defense. He's basically another Zubrus.

Anyone think Kovy's recent hot play is due a lot to Elias centering their line?

I love Henrique but maybe Kovy feels like he needs to do too much with a rookie out there..seems much more comfortable with Patty there. And Henrique always seemed much more consistent and confident with Parise.

Kovy , Parise and Elias has to be in consideration for the top line in the league.

Kovy is playing pretty solid, like what I'm seeing and his shot is getting sharper and sharper....

Don't know what to do when Henrique and Zajac come back but its good to have these options ATM.
