I’m a bit behind on the name game info. Doesn’t Danny Boy have the Warriors trademark all locked up tho? I’m ambivalent but want the name to fit our song. THAT I miss after TDs.

I would rather be Washington Football Club (WFC) with no nickname than Washington Football Team with no nickname. Either way, it would be sad.

Frankly, ANY of the rumored alternatives are better than WFT.

Just Keep it the Washington Football Club it has Retro thing going on... there merch is not half bad to me they have a world 2 era like feel or look like there honoring World war 2 (1940ish). I do have a bachelors in marketing/mass media

I'd like to see the name changed to Warriors and use a lance or tomahawk as a logo. Chiefs have a name and logo that is affiliated with the American Indian ... why not keep our heritage.

Why not just put the gold W on the helmets and name them Warriors? Its that simple. I also miss the pin stipe on the top of the helmet in the middle.

Disagree. Capitals is a fine name, Nationals is an ok name, Wizards is kind of dumb, mystics is ok.

DC United is a great name though.

Being old throw backs like we are keeping some of that traditional history is important and I agree Cali, the fight song with minimal changes should be kept with the new name. Snyder does have WARRIORS locked up so I'm hoping that takes shape and could be incorporated into the song I'm sure.
