That's why he would be an Assistant to the Captain.

Thats what I meant... I lump "C" and "A" together. Someone disciplined should carry those letters. He is not, nor is Looch. Seidenberg is the best choice.

The Penguins gave one to Matt Cooke...

Sad part on Cooke is he is a good player. He just cant seem to not take the cheap shot when it shows itself. If he eliminated that he could be a very good player.

I like Seidenburg as a choice. He was a horse in the playoffs.

Tough one. Seidenberg, Krejci, Lucuc, Bergy, Thomas all deserve considration. Maybe even Savard?

I dont like the idea of Goalies and Captaincy. Krejci doesn't seem outspoken enough for me. Great player, great teammate, but just not verbal enough with the officials and the team. Looch and Marchy, like I said, not disciplined enough. Bergy already is. I think Seidenberg is the clear cut choice.

Savvy would be a definite consideration if he is back next season... I don't think he will be unfortunately. I have never seen a positive article claiming him to be any better.

I'd have to look into his character a little more and see how his interaction is with the team and the officials, but Peverley seems like he could make a decent "A" candidate as well.

I don't know about the team, but it's not Krejci's job to be vocal with the refs. That's what the C and A do. It's not just about being vocal, it's also being a leader on and off the ice, and everyone I mentioned fits that mold. Don't be disputing me, you still have the (R) next to your name until next season :pound:

I picked Marchand because other than TT, Marchand really stepped up big time in the PO's, and was a big part of the Bruins winning the Cup, while also setting a record.

Not too shabby for a rookie considering that the PO's are really intense.

He went into Skinner territory with that effort.

Agreed... I loved the kids play from the beginning of the season. And he has excelled throughout the season, but never did I see him being that big of an impact in the playoffs. I was very surprised.

Marchands time will come, but I don't think it's now
